Your Next Role
Reporting to the Group Projects and Planning Manager you will manage the end-to-end planning and scheduling activities for manufacturing to maximise customer service levels safely and at the best total business cost.
The role is required to make assessments of the Strategic and Tactical plans and current production processes and to provide recommendations to maximise the best outcome for the business and other stakeholders.
You will assist with strategic initiatives and projects as required across Hyne Timber.

- Ensure a trusted site planning process that delivers reliable production plans aligned with site capability, sales forecasts, and business KPIs.
- Maintain a balanced product mix within inventory limits to meet customer service expectations and financial targets.
- Embed company strategy in production plans, ensuring alignment with business and tactical planning processes. Escalate any deviations promptly.
- Develop and deliver an annual budget production plan that aligns with demand and site capabilities.
- Maintain accurate planning systems, master data, and processes, continuously evolving to best practices.
- Optimise Greenmill cutting targets to align with KD inventory needs and finished goods replenishment.
- Create and manage 12-week production plans for GOS/Machined products based on demand.
- Analyse production plans to identify vulnerabilities, exploit opportunities, and develop contingency scenarios.
- Track and review site performance and inventory levels weekly against the production plan.
- Collaborate with site leadership to resolve operational constraints, execute production plans, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Tuan
You will be based at our plant in the Tuan Forest, located in the beautiful Fraser Coast region. This coastal town offers affordable living and is proudly home to Queensland’s greatest icons including K’Gari Island.
About you
- Qualifications in business, supply chain or any related field
- 5 years+ experience in supply planning, production scheduling and optimisation.
- Experience in, partnering with line leaders and managers across the business.
- Advanced Excel skills are highly regarded.
