We have a number of exciting full time opportunities throughout our Caboolture operations for Process Employees & Machine Operators. We are after applicants that want to join a national business, be motivated to make a difference and be provided an opportunity to grow a career with AKD.
We have a number of different departments across our site which creates fantastic opportunities to learn a number of different roles.
Day shift hours
- 5-day week: Start at 6am and finish at 2pm.
- 4-day week: Start at 5am / 5:30am and finish at 3pm / 3:30pm (working a 9.5-hour shift).
Afternoon shift hours (15% loading)
- 5-day week: Start at 2pm and finish at 10pm.
- 4-day week: Starts at 3:30pm / 4pm and finish at 1:30am / 2pm (working a 9.5-hour shift).
Night Shift hours (30% loading)
5-day week: start at 10pm to 6am.
These positions will suit a motivated applicant that is keen to grow within a large organisation and enjoys working in a high performing team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities will include:
- Set up and operate production machine centres effectively and according to established standards
- Ensuring all quality specifications are met
- Record process data to support continuous improvement – equipment fault codes, quality data, product tally data
- Reporting equipment faults and assisting maintenance team in completing diagnosis and repairs
- Manual handling – bending, lifting
- Wrapping and strapping of timber packs
The successful applicants must be able to demonstrate:
- Previous experience manual handling type roles
- Reliability and flexibility

- Commitment to long term employment
- Forklift license and experience is an advantage but not mandatory
