About the Role
Reporting to the Shift Team Leader, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our plant and equipment. This hands-on position focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving preventive maintenance programs to minimise downtime and support production goals.
Key Details:
- Roster: Lifestyle-friendly 12-hour shifts with a 7-day rest period every 4 weeks.
- Remuneration: Attractive annualised package with opportunities for overtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively in a team environment, including with apprentices, to resolve day-to-day maintenance challenges.
- Perform preventive maintenance to enhance equipment reliability and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to breakdowns to minimise production disruptions.
- Analyse faults, provide solutions, and implement rectifications.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards.
- Plan, organise direct and control the daily tasks you are undertaking to align with operational requirements.
About You
Essential:
- Mechanical trade certificate (e.g., Fitter and Turner).
- A demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Basic computer literacy to support maintenance documentation and planning.
Desirable:
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing environment.
